Shakti Yoga Program

(Available on 2nd and 4th week-end of each month)

Leave your busy life behind and spend a day in the beautiful mountains of Nishiawakura. Immerse yourself in a weekend of yoga and return home revitalised, rejuvenated and restored.

Shakti Yoga weekend at the renovated traditional Japanese folkhouse of Nokishita Toshokan B&B, located in the north eastern part of Okayama will do just that.

The weekend starts on Saturday at 3pm with a one and half hour asana, pranayama and meditation class followed by a light supper. The 2- hour Sunday asana, pranayama and meditation class starts at 7:00 am. This is followed by brunch.

The Saturday evening asana class often has a restorative feel, staying in supported poses longer to induce a sense of deep rest while the sunday morning session will be more energising preparing you for the day ahead.

Please note there is no lunch provided on Sunday.

The Shakti Yoga weekend includes:

- Two Shakti YOGA classes

- Daily meditation class

- Personlised instruction, hands on adjustment, a chance to deepen your practce and understanding

- 1 night in our shared eco accommodation with all meals and drinks provided.

- An opportunity to relax and unwind. Wonderful walks and woodlands to explore; or for those who wish to be still you can have a deep soak in our local hot spring.

- All towels and water are provided for classes.
